After Johnny founded his first Band at the age of 15, it didn’t take long for him to start writing his own songs. So it doesn’t amaze anyone that he wanted to be on stage performing his own songs live.
His first stage experience came while touring through Germany, Austria and Switzerland with the band “Nashville Band”. On the projects that followed, he also worked with the American country star Joe Sun and the Pedal-Steel-Guitar-legend Frank Baum.
In 2002 Johnny Lorenz’ career started to pick up. Together with his close music friend and drummer Stephan Ebn he founded the group “Johnny Lorenz Band”.
In 2003, he released his first Album “Behind”, with 10 songs that Johnny wrote.
Many TV shows followed and his songs were played in the radio.
While Johnny Lorenz was working on new English songs, a German Maxi-Cd was released.
With his own compositions “Und ich fahr die ganze Nacht”, “Du” and “Nur du allein”, he is trying some songs in his mother-tongue.
