Kim still lives in her hometown Gelsenkirchen and this is where her carrier started more than 30 years ago.
The first station of her musical life was a cover band but at the beginning of the eighties she dedicated herself to country music. While she was accompanied by her husband Reinhold for a long time, she now does a lot of solo performances.
The lively singer who is also lovingly called Queen of Country by her fans feels quite at home in the neighbouring country Netherlands. In the early years Kim West used to mainly sing an English repertoire where as now she is doing more songs in her native tongue. With her vivid way Kim´s audience is quickly under her charm.
Right now there hardly is a chance to catch Kim on stage since she is in the studio working on her new production.
