Stan Silver is a globetrotter! Born in New York he was raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is where he became infused with the songs of Neil Young, James Taylor and Paul Simon.
He fell in love with country music and began writing his own songs.
Part of his family still lives in Germany so for years he´s been travelling between New York, Los Angeles and Nuremberg. Germany has become his home just as much as the USA.
After some releases in the USA he has his first full length CD out in Europe.
Stan Silver produced the 14 song CD partly in Los Angeles where he was supported by top players such as Lisa Haley and Skip Edwards. But a lot of the tracks were recorded in Germany.
All songs were written by Stan Silver and the title track “Higher Ground” has reached high positions in many air-play charts. The newest single “True Love (is Hard to Find)” is out and is getting some great responses!
